Nice Pear Studios : Logo Animation and Stuff the Team Has been Working On

For the logo animation, we tried a little bit of word play. Nice Pear, nice PAIR... get it?? haha. We presented our logo to the class today and it was nice to see some people giggling away, which is exactly what we wanted. So here's the video... if you've not seen it already.

This video took forever to make. I basically got a video from Youtube, ripped it and imported it into Flash. Then, I had to edit every single frame, putting two pears in it. It turned out to be funny, which is worth it.

Here are also some of the stuff we prepared for our animation:

Nice Pear Studios & Winning Pitch

Sorry for the long inactivity of blog folks. Due to some personal issues, this blog was on a long hiatus. This is just a late announcement to tell you fellas following this blog that any work done by Nice Pear Studios will also be posted here.

If you didn't know already, Nice Pear Studios is an animation company comprised of myself, Camilla Kilbane and Jonathon Hyde Neary. We're working on our animation project Histoires Petite Pomme. Over the next few weeks, I will constantly update this blog on our progress, so stay tuned!

And of course, I need to catch up on the stuff I have missed in the tutorials whilst I was away. So yeah, thats another task on the list thats long overdue!

It was surprising to have my pitch win the contest. I was out of the country due to personal problems but Josh was kind enough to let my pitch win! Thanks Josh!

Heres the pitch I came out with.

To be brutally honest with myself, while I think the story and concept may be interesting, I do not like how the quality of this document had turned out to be. We live and learn. I am not a very artistic person to begin with anyway. I think I can do better now.

Here is also the Draft Marketing Plan I made.

I really liked this submission, to be honest. I liked the title page I designed, which will stay for every coming submission as little heading. I think I am slowly getting better at this!
